Rainy/cold day activities around town

Here's a question for all of you...what do YOU do when it's too rainy/cold to play outside. Anything specific around town you love to do, or any unique activities in your home that you'd like to share? I apologize for not adding much on here...if anyone thinks of something I haven't posted, PLEASE SHARE! :o) I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

  1. We pull out some of the toys that we haven't used in a while- rain helps remind me to rotate the toys. We build lots- legos, lincoln logs, wooden blocks. It has to be pretty icky out to keep us inside.
For trips out in bad weather, we go to the library some- there are lots of story times. Does the grocery store count? It's a little walk from the parking lot but we like the nature center at Clark Park on Ramsey. Of course, Fascinate-U is good for a rainy day and Monkey Joe's every once in a while. We really like Marbles museum (it's in Raleigh but worth the drive!)
